Take a look at the skate park for yourself, you will find a really nice bowl with very smooth transitions with lots of speed. Best times have to be the summer as you can go down and skate down the prom and get icecream.

What the park offers is free fun for the people, the other skaters I met made me feel welcome. Altogether its good for medium to expert levels. Its not really a place for begginers as its fast and hard with big cross overs

Find it

You can get to the park pretty much on every mode of transport there is. Bus stops are very close to the park and a train station is 5 mins away.

There is local parking that is free close by, if you need shops for food there is a chippy and a local shop for drinks and snacks.

Review

New Bird is an amazing place to go for BMX's, Scooters and skateboards. New Brighton has loads to do even if your not hitting the park you can use the whole prom!

The surface is very rough and is best suited to BMX's hitting the transitions you gain lots of speed to hit the cross overs into smooth transitions. New Bird is a little gem of a place and is hidden away from view if you were not in the know you would not find it.
